Roald Dahl!

We are very much back into the swing of things here in 2P.  We are also thoroughly enjoying the start we have made to our 'Roald Dahl' topic.  There is so much for us to learn about and so many wonderful stories to explore! 

This afternoon, we have enjoyed a carousel activity featuring four activities: 

1. Group Reading, we have started reading Roald Dahls, Fantastic Mr Fox.

2. Squiffing Story Tiles: The children used different Roald Dahl Characters to create their own stories. 

3. Splendiforious Spelling Games: Miss Norman helped the children play a Roald Dahl theme game of Scrabble.

4. Scrumdiddlyumptious Storybook Game: a lovely board game that quizzes the children on some of Roald Dahls different stories. 

We have also rehearsed for our Summer Concert this afternoon!
