A special visitor!

Mrs Bendall and her baby, Libby popped into our Maths lesson to say hello today!

The children demonstrated their knowledge of the grid method and column subtraction by teaching Libby!

She was thoroughly impressed with the children's skills! So was Mrs Bendall!

Egg-citing experiments!!

On Tuesday, we enjoyed conducting an experiment as a class. We are looking at the effect of different drinks on the shell of an egg. This is to help us think about the effects that these sorts of drinks might be having on our teeth.

We will be writing this up next week.

Thank you Mrs Gittings!

As you know, Mrs Gittings has taught all of the children violin this year, as well as some privately. She is incredibly passionate and is a wonderful teacher to the children.  We made her this card as a thankyou for teaching the class. She was also very generous and gave the children some sweets and biscuits to share.

Super show and tells!

The children have really risen to the challenge of sharing some very interesting show and tells recently.  It is wonderful to see how they have developed very good presenting skills and speak with such confidence.  Today was a particular highlight as Isabel showed us her new kittens, Thomas told us about his vegetable patch and home, even bringing in some to show us! Lucas talked about his visit to Weston Air Show and Sophie gave us a taekwondo demonstration!

Drama workshops

We enjoyed a circus themed drama workshop today, it was lovely to see the children all going for it as clowns, jugglers and tightrope walkers!
